DOCUMENT: Tale of The Gods

The Story:

There cannot be space without time, time without concept, concept without space. The twins and their younger sister danced constantly arm in arm.
The first to exist as gods to a world, Concept and Space, are inconceivable to even think of. Constantly transforming into something more mind-breaking at the second, yet growing simpler as well. Becoming the very nature of the universe. Both were linked together since the beginning of the world, before time existed, concepting creating endlessly in their little space that they had. One day, Concept thought: " What, if simply, there were more space to concept and create? " and instantly it was so. With that, their little sister was born at the beginning of Time.

Time showed them how Space aged and became more complex with Time, or how it became simple with Time. With this, Space asked: " What if time aged all of the matter in my space? Rather than just the amount of it. " And with his words it was so, supernovas and planets and spinning nebulas. Black holes and stars and moons. It was spectacular. Seeing all of this creation and concepts, Time could not waste another second, and asked: " What if with the expansion of time and with all this creation, other things could form more concepts? " And after her words, it was so, life began to form using the cracks of the planets. Concepts creating concepts, Space expanding space and Time advancing Time. Of course, with all these new concepts there must be a keeper, and Concept who was only a creator of the concepts could not hold these concepts forever without more of them.

A god of magical energy, who was born from a black hole and filled with everything one could see, created and studied the arts of magic and the keeping of its raw energy.

A god of life formed from the first collaborative creations that moved and danced with a goal, ever expanding their form to be closer to the modern era of life itself.

A god of death, forming from the first perished organisms to exist, rised from the graves of such matter and dissipated the souls of the dead to rest eternally.

A god of peace, from the calm, chemical eating fluoride based life forms of a planet, practiced the art of relaxation and creation with a stable mind.

A god of sin, forming from the competitive and carnivorous nature of first cell eating creatures, chaotically bringing anger and instinct into the world.

Of course, these were the first, the other four were only born later as life became more complex, but to Concept, Space and Time, this was enough. They welcomed these lesser gods with open arms and took them under their wing. Time took Life and Death, Space took Peace and Sin and Concept took Magic. That is the start the universe.

While the start is complex, more was to come. As time advanced, space slowly became more defined and concepts started to be more and more complex, the first signs of intelligent life formed on planets. There were parts of these complex species that were so particularly interesting to the gods, since obviously at the time they'd never seen anything like it. Death and Life had more meaning to these creatures. Peace and Sin were defined in their cultures. Magic was sometimes a large part of their technological advancements. But they had more to them the others couldn't understand- And with that came the creation of Philosophy.

Philosophy wasn't alike to Concept, Space and Time. They weren't here to do things just because they could, but rather to give these complex lifeforms meaning and interesting properties. Philosophy generally did not struggle to include the other three in his creations, however. Philosophy spoke when he arrived: " How come here in the dance of Time, with all of this amazing Space, with the ability to create such complex Concepts, I have not appeared sooner to this universe? " The other three did not know, and stood silent, so Philosophy aimed to learn via the advancements of the complex life he'd been created to attend to.

Under Philosophy's wing, 4 gods made themselves known:
A god of knowledge, made from the thoughts of intelligent life and their understanding the universe, admiring how information about the core rules of the world pass down generations untwisted.

A god of generosity, formed from the kindness of creatures and the good of their hearts. While not all creatures had generosity, they usually did not survive, and so generosity was deemed an important factor of complex nature.

A god of positive emotion, formed from the moments of bonding and happiness that the complex creatures displayed.

And a god of negative emotion, forming from hatred and distrust, often appearing when a creature feels mistreated or subject to unfair judgement.

For a while, the gods were almost deemed lesser, but their creation proved vital in the longevity of complex life, and so they were regarded as the same level as the others. Due to such difference in nature of Philosophy's gods and the others, they were often separated when working as they would get into fights over things that seemed pointless to Concept, Time and Space.

" In order to understand and use Magic, Knowledge of it must appear first. "
" In order to see the worth of Life and Peace, Positivity and Generosity must show these creatures the way. "
" In order to recognise Sin and the cruel nature of Death, Negativity has to rule. "

The other gods disagreed heavily, except for Peace who understood their meanings, arguing that life was as cruel as death if their words were so and that death is a cycle to recreate life- It was necessary to have Life and Death as a part of the world. Magic also deemed needing Knowledge to wield Magic an inaccuracy, as Magic existed simply inside the people and did since the creation of even the simplest lifeforms.

While Philosophy agreed with the questions and points their gods asked, and also understood where the other side was coming from, they agreed to separate the works after seeing the problems that may arise if gods ended up fighting each other. It is unfortunate it ended up this way.
